Hi there everyone,

Today I would like to take some time and recommend another book to you all. I recently read “Surrounded by Idiots” written by Thomas Erikson and I cannot say enough great things about this book. Do you ever find yourself explaining an analysis to someone and after hearing their thoughts and comments thinking….wow what an idiot? I’m sure you have, we all have.

The truth is the person is not an idiot (at least I hope not for your sanity 😂) but they are simply a different type of personality. Everyone has their own method of comprehension and being able to identify a personality type to change your presentation to fit them will benefit you (and them) on a whole new level. Instead of insisting that everyone understand something the same way you do, take a step back and imagine yourself trying to learn the topic.

You would focus on specific details or perhaps you would be more high level. This book helped me to identify personality types and cater my presentation of information to that person. After all, the way your analysis is comprehended will be the deciding factor.

So, I challenge you. What is your personality type? Can you identify the types around you? Lastly, how prepared are you to switch up your presentations to better suit the audience?

As always, happy analyzing

(and stay safe from “yellows” 😊)
